In 2005 we met our friends Alan and Andre at the Newark Airport and flew first to London for a couple of days and then on to Egypt. We started in Cairo, took the train to Luxor where we joined our cruise ship from Luxor to Aswan and back. From Aswan we drove through the desert at night to visit Abu Simbel. After the return to Luxor we returned by train to Cairo and then back home.
