In 2014 we flew into Bordeaux, France, despite an Air France work stoppage, which made our return trip an adventure through Amsterdam. We explored the Aquitaine region of Southwest France and got up high in Pyrénées National Park at one point. The highlight was our group’s farewell dinner at Chateau Siaurac in Neac, where the owner of the chateau hosted our group for dinner.
